I like this digital photo frame, it is relatively easy to use, though the instruction booklet is not much help. If you weren't of the computer generation you might struggle to set it up.

The only downside I could find is that it doesnt support a pen drive but it does support most memory cards- xd, sd etc.

Overall I would say good value for money.

I wanted to replace a very old 6" frame that had started to get a pink tint. This was very easy to set up with a SD card of images and the clarity of the pictures is excellent. We can see pictures so much better than before.

One or two things however...

It does seem to have a strange 'feature' where some pictures only stay on screen for a second or two even if you've set the time to 30 seconds, etc, but we think that's funny and it seems to be different ones each time. I think it might be because my images are 1024 not 800 wide or maybe because they are on SD and not the device. I shall experiment, but it's not putting us off.

Also we are using this on a shelf, but be warned if you want to wall-mount it that the on-off button is on the back next to the hole for the screw and you would have to remove it from the wall to use this switch.

We purchased one of these Toshiba 8" models prior to Christmas 2009 and was very happy with the product. It is so good we have purchased another at an even better price in March 2010. The picture quality is excellent. Setup is quite easy and straightforward. Bring out your favourite digital pictures and enjoy them. Highly recommended.

Got this for a present but was dissapointed by all the stickers over it. Had to use nail polish remover to get the sticky stuff off. This didn't do any damage but was annoying. the frame itself is really good and performs well in all light conditions. Only problem is that it would be nice if it had some sort of battery so you could move it about if you wanted without the lead.

Where do I start? I love this! I unwrapped it, plugged it in and put my usb stick into it. Seconds later there were my photos! The touch controls are intuitive in that I didn't have to read the manual before I was surfing the photographs, and learning what it can do. The touch screen is senstive and easy to navigate. I have noticed that even though I have played with it for hours, that there are no finger marks showing which suprised me giving the gloss finish. The picture quality is excellent, and the pictures can be viewed side on as well. The borders are filled in with graduated colour for vertical photos, which makes it easy on the eye as there are no harsh black panels. I have yet to programme the timer for on/off as I switch it off at the mains anyway, but it takes just seconds after switching it on again to view the photos. It does start up with the first photo in the usb which means that you would have to scroll through the gallery to ensure you started from a different place so you weren't seeing the same photos every day, but this is so quick to do. The shuffle menu isn't totally random, it just skips a few photos but I believe that this is so with most frames. The main problem for me is that while all the memory cards would be totally hidden, a standard usb stick protrudes rudely from the side (and as mine is fluorescent pink...). I have had to purchase an 8G micro usb which was £30. A memory card is much cheaper and would be totally hidden, but I am a total technophobe and had to stick with what I knew how to work! The micro usb is just small enough not to be seen.

I would thoroughly recommend this frame to anyone. It is easy for anyone to use and the photo quality is brilliant.

I bought this for my boyfriend and I haven't used it yet, but my boyfriend has and, according to him, it's good quality. Lots of photo frames seem to have additional options like video reproduction, mp3, battery operation etc., which is good, but sometimes means the frame itself is of lower quality. This photo frame doesn't have many add ons, but the basics are sounds, high photo viewing quality, good screen size, resolution and scale...which all means that photos look good on it, which is pretty much the most important thing!

This digital photoframe is easy to use and packed with features. Onboard memory allowed me to load and display pictures in minutes. Frame recognised by my computer (XP) as soon as it was plugged in. Display is vibrant and crisp - the best I have seen. The touch navigation is very intuitive and makes it so easy to look at your whole album. I like the size as well, not too big, not too small and the price is a steal.

I found it a bit fiddly at first to download, but once I had got the hang of it, it was easy (These things do not come naturally to some of us of a certain age!) Its always a bit of risk buying things like this when no one entered any reviews yet, so I thought I would take a chance on this particular Keyring model. To avoid the usual disappointment, I always put myself in the frame of mind with these things, that it will be rubbish when it arrives - however I was really pleasantly surprised by this one. The back of the case is made up of a fairly low budget black plastic - however it is more than made up for by the nice screen which is very clear with a nice silver surround. Usually with these small screens you can see the individual pixels making the pictures look very grainy, but on this screen the pictures looked like the originals - just smaller but still keeping the clarity. The quality of the screen was my main concern - therefore the additional options such as being able to display the date and time (in either digital or analogue format) instead of just photos was a nice added touch. Also the calender option with forward or backward stepping through the months is a genuinely useful feature as well. Finally being able to store 435 photos makes it far superior to most of the other photo Keyrings on Amazon.



When you first plug your keyring into your PC using the USB cable supplied you have to then set the Keyring to USB connection mode using the buttons on the back of the device. These buttons control a very simple menu of selectable options on the Keyring screen which is very user friendly to use - I didn't need to refer to the instructions at all. Once you have selected the USB connection option the built in software will download to your PC which will then require a reboot - on the second and subsequent times that you do this it will just simply start the software automatically ready for use. I tried this on both an XP machine and on a Vista machine and it worked fine on both - I don't have access to a Windows 7 machine but would expect there to be a reasonable chance of it working ok on there as well. The only downside was the supplied USB cable which kept breaking the connection between the Keyring and the PC - I eventually replaced this with another spare cable that I had and it has worked perfectly since. USB Cables are usually fairly reliable so I cant see that being a very common problem and I was probably just unlucky with this one. The software on the PC was very straightforward to use - the average person won't need to read the instructions as you can work out what you need to do to upload and delete pictures into the Keyring in just a few seconds of looking at it. All in all I am very pleased with taking a chance on this one and would be more than happy to buy several more of these as gifts.

I expected the dimensions to be of photo size, it describes the product as being 2.4 TFT LCD but what does that mean if you don't know?!!!

They could have stated it as being 2.4", for those not in the know.



The exact dimensions of the screen are: 3.75cm by 5cm.



The total dimensions of the frame are 5.5cm by 8.5cm.



It seems to be a good product technically, but if you want to see the pictures clearly you have to be quite close to it, I'd think again if you're buying this for someone with impaired vision!

I bought this photo frame for my parents, so ease of use was one of my priorities. Basic set-up to view photos is very simple, picture is clear and bright. Basic operations can be performed using the buttons on the back of the frame, but life is simpler using the remote control. The frame looks good and I am pleased with the quality.



I have not tried other features such as the calendar or videos as I only want to use it as a photo frame. The only niggles are the lack of a random photo display mode and the poor performance of the rechargeable battery, but I can live with both of these.



If budget is unlimited you could probably do better, but this is a good frame for the price.
